First ride post injury
Miss Molly had her first ride today post injury. Of course she was perfect, she always is!! Given that she's only actually been sat on 4 times since she finished racing in December, she is a star. Just gets on with the job and off we go. Even gets her correct canter strike offs.

Hideous injury....
This is what happens when stallions are put next door to mares, without proper stallion proof fencing in between. Who the fark does that sort of thing anyway?!!! A simple phone call to say the stallion was going to be put next door would have saved my girls leg, and my wallet. Angry? hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two outings
Molly has had her first outings post racing, and behaved impeccably.
First she went to a young horse seminar, where two big name trainers and riders from the UK were assessing young horses' future ability, based on their conformation etc. Both ladies are very well respected in the international eventing world, having won at 4* level and been very involved with the sport internationally.
Thankfully they had lots of nice things to say about Molly, and commented on how well put together she is and very mature looking for a 3yr old. Also loved her temperament and said she reminded them of a horse that Mark Todd had who is now running advanced in the UK.
Molly's second outing was to Woodhill Sands SJ last weekend. A lot busier, and lots of galloping horses and crashing rails. She just hung out there ringside like she'd done it all her life. Total non event.
She has her first show this weekend, so hopefully will be as well behaved there! It is just a show with flat classes of course, local, low key.
